Why the Mother Wound?
The first woman a man ever knew was his mother.
Whether she was soft or hard. Present or absent. Loving or cold. Here, or gone too soon. She shaped the way you love. The way you trust. The way you receive. The way you show up for every woman who came after.
Most men never name this.
They carry it quietly - in their relationships, in their patterns, in the version of themselves they bring to the people they love most.
This isn't about blame.
It's about story.
And stories can be rewritten.
Here’s What You’ll Work on:
- Re-write the story that has fed grief, disconnection, loss, betrayal, trauma and pain.
- Re-balance and harmonize with your mother and other feminine relationships.
- Define or redefine your masculine in all of your relational connections.
- Receive tools to maintain how you want to recreate and show up in your world.
- Integrate into a community of other conscious and emotionally aware men in Aotearoa.
The Weekend
- Friday evening - Arrival, opening ceremony, dropping out of the noise of the week and into the container.
- Saturday - Deep process work, ritual, time in nature, brotherhood, and challenge. Held by elders. Anchored in ceremony.
- Sunday - Integration. Commitments forward. Closing ceremony. You leave with something you didn't arrive with.
Throughout the weekend you'll be held by seasoned facilitators, the land of Whaingaroa, and a circle of men walking the same path.
