Addresss:
2 Totara Street, Toitoi, Nelson

FREE for all men

Join us for a relaxed day of workshops, speakers, panel talks, food, music, and connection — all created by men, for men.

What to expect:

Hear from men who’ve walked similar paths — as well as counsellors, social workers, and inspiring speakers. Learn about local men’s groups and how they can help you grow, connect, and find new direction. Meet other men who value honesty, reflection, and real community. This is a men-only event, though some female presenters will share their insights. If you’re keen, we’ll be forming a new men’s group from this event.

For dads: Are you a dad or solo dad?

We’ll have dedicated topics and panels for fathers, and we may start a new Dads’ Group from this event. Bring your kids and we'll make sure they are entertained.

Details:

  • Please come at the 11am start and plan to hang out for a while to enjoy a wide range of activities, connection and insightful conversations with other men.
  • Talks and other activities take place from 11am - 5pm
  • Food will available at very low cost -- lunch food, baked goods + coffee available all day.
  • This is a men's only event, however there will be female presenters.
  • Kids are welcome to enable Dad's to participate.
  • This free event is organised by Nelson/Tasman Men's Groups.
Stay tuned for more information. The full programme (speakers, activities and times) will be posted closer to the event date.

How do I join a men's group?

If you are interested in joining a group (or checking one out causally) get in touch with the group directly — using the contact info at the bottom of each listing.

If the group has space, you will be invited to attend a meeting to check it out. The group will welcome you, and will explain and demonstrate how things work.

If more than one group exists in your area, feel free to try two or more to find the best long-term fit for you.
